Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Ltd has critical weather, snow and ski lift information that need to be communicated to its staff and subscription customers on a daily basis.
SOLUTION
Sonic deployed its global connect gateway which Mount Ruapehu integrated directly with its website database. Mount Ruapehu is also using multiple web2sms accounts to keep staff and customers up to date in real time.
RESULTS
Thousands of mountain updates are sent on a daily basis to subscribing customers and staff. Staff can use the web2sms to type messages into the web application and send them directly to mobile phones. This enables customers and staff to have instant access to information relating to ski lift activity, weather and snow conditions.
